Bronisław Pawlik
Bronisław Pawlik (8 January 1926 – 6 May 2002) was a Polish actor. He starred in the TV series ''Stawka większa niż życie'' and 1978 comedy film ''What Will You Do When You Catch Me?''. At the 1st Moscow International Film Festival (1959) he won a Silver Medal for acting for his role in the film ''The Eagle (1959 film), The Eagle''. ''The Bear from the Window'') was a Polish language, Polish Educational television, educational children's television series or ''wieczorynka'' emitted in Telewizja Polska from 1957 to 1973. It was based on the BBC series Whirligig (TV series), ''Whirligig'', led by Humphrey Lestocq. ''Teddy Bear'' is the English title of ''Miś'' , a 1981 Polish comedy film directed by Stanisław Bareja. ''Teddy Bear'', along with '' The Cruise'' ''(Rejs)'', was a reflection of contemporary Polish society using surreal humor to somehow get past the censorship at the time. It gained cult status in its native country. Later, the film was reappraised by critics and it has been regarded as one of the best Polish films ever made.
