Brock Stewart
Brock Allen Stewart (born October 3, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has also played in MLB for the Toronto Blue Jays and Minnesota Twins. Career Amateur career Stewart is the son of Jeff Stewart, who is a former college baseball coach and current San Diego Padres scout. Stewart attended Normal Community West High School in Normal, Illinois and was drafted by the New York Mets in the 40th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft. He did not sign and played college baseball at Illinois State University, where he started pitching as a redshirt junior after having primarily been a third baseman before that. In 2013, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Texas League
The Texas League is a Minor League Baseball league which has operated in the South Central United States since 1902. It is classified as a Double-A league. The Tulsa Drillers are a minor league baseball team based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The team, which plays in the Texas League, is the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers major-league club. Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Pioneer Baseball League (also known as simply the Pioneer League) is a professional baseball league based in the Western United States. It operates as one of four Major League Baseball (MLB) Partner Leagues in the American independent baseball league system without MLB team affiliations. The Ogden Raptors are an independent baseball team of the Pioneer League, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB) but is an MLB Partner League. They are located in Ogden, Utah and play their home games at Lindquist Field. Pitcher Ben Sheets, first baseman Prince Fielder, shortstop J. J. 2014 Major League Baseball Draft
The 2014 Major League Baseball draft was held from June 5 through June 7, 2014, to assign amateur baseball players to MLB teams. The first two rounds were conducted on June 5, followed by rounds three through ten on June 6, and the last 30 rounds on June 7.
