Brian Chrøis
Brian Chrøis (born 12 November 1959) is a Danish former professional footballer who scored 68 goals in 239 games as a defensive midfielder for Danish club Brøndby IF. He scored a single goal in seven games for the Denmark national football team. Besides Denmark, Chrois has played in Switzerland and Spain. Biography Born in Copenhagen, Chrøis started playing football with local team Boldklubben Avarta. He made his senior debut at Avarta, and established himself as a defensive midfielder with fine finishing. He was part of a team reaching consecutive promotions to the Copenhagen Series to the Denmark Series before reaching the then third-tier 3rd Division. He moved to Brøndby IF before the 1980 season, and was named 1980 "Brøndby Player of the Year". Denmark Series
The Denmark Series () is the fifth tier in the Danish football league system. Teams are divided into four groups of ten. The top team in each following promotion group is promoted to the Danish 3rd Division. The bottom three teams in each group are relegated to the regional Copenhagen Series, Zealand Series, Lolland-Falster Series, Funen Series, or Jutland Series as is appropriate for each club geographically. Clubs in the Denmark Series are participants in the Danish Cup tournament. Swiss Challenge League
The Challenge League (known as the Dieci Challenge League for sponsorship reasons) is the second-highest tier of the Swiss football league system and lower of two professional leagues in the country. Ten teams play in the Challenge League; the winners of the league are promoted to the Swiss Super League, Super League, while the bottom-placed team is relegated to the Promotion League. Overview The Challenge League is played over 36 rounds from the end of July to May, with a winter break from mid-December to the first week of February. Hvidovre Idrætsforening, more commonly known as Hvidovre IF () is a Danish association football club from Hvidovre, Capital Region of Denmark. Josef Emanuel Hubertus "Sepp" Piontek (born 5 March 1940) is a German former football player and manager. Playing career Born in Wrocław during World War II, Piontek started his playing career with VfL Germania Leer. Between 1963 and 1972, the full-back played 203 Bundesliga matches with 14 goals for SV Werder Bremen (he previously registered 75 matches and one goal with the side in Oberliga Nord (1960–1963), prior to the creation of Bundesliga). Per Anders Bjerregaard (; born 23 January 1946) is a Danish educated physician (cand.med.) and former footballer, executive director and chairman of Danish football club Brøndby IF. Career Born in Randers, Bjerregaard moved to Copenhagen where he played football for Brøndby IF. He was the captain of the senior team as well as the player representative at the board of the club in 1972, and in 1973 he stopped his active career and became chairman of the club.
