Brian Anderson (sportscaster)
Brian Anderson (born June 7, 1971) is an American sportscaster for FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin and TNT Sports. Since 2007, he has called play-by-play for the Milwaukee Brewers' telecasts on their various regional sports networks. As a part of his work on the 2007 ''Brewers Preview Show'', Anderson and the then-Fox Sports team were awarded a regional Emmy Award. Anderson also calls March Madness games for TNT Sports and CBS Sports, along with regular season college basketball games, MLB games, NBA games, The Match golf franchise, and French Open Tennis for TNT Sports. 2008 Milwaukee Brewers Season
The 2008 Milwaukee Brewers season was the 39th season for the Brewers in Milwaukee, their 11th in the National League, and their 40th overall. The season opened with optimism as the team attempted to build on the success of the 2007 season – their first winning season since 1992. With 12 games remaining in the regular season, manager Ned Yost was fired and replaced with bench coach Dale Sveum. Under Sveum, the team completed the regular season 7–5, finishing second place in the National League Central with a record of 90–72 and winning the NL Wild Card. With the Wild Card berth, the team clinched its first playoff berth in 26 years. Bill A "Rock" Schroeder (born Alfred A William Schroeder on September 7, 1958) is an American former Major League Baseball player and a current television sports broadcaster. He played for the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, California Angels between 1983 and 1990. Since 1995, Schroeder has been the primary color commentator on Brewers telecasts. The San Antonio Missions are a Minor League Baseball team based in San Antonio, Texas. The Missions compete in the Texas League as the Double-A (baseball), Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres.
