Breakfast (Australian TV Program)
''Breakfast'' was an Australian breakfast television program which aired live on Network Ten on weekdays, as well as a weekly highlights program on Saturday at 11:00 am. It had a format consisting of news, sport and weather updates every half-hour from 6:00 am to 8:00 am with a mixture of debate, current affairs and regular segments in between. The show originally ran from 6:00 am–9:00 am on weekdays preceding '' The Circle'' before being shortened to a two-and-a-half-hour show, as part of the '' Mornings on Ten'' lineup. The presenting line-up consisted of Paul Henry and Kathryn Robinson, along with broadcast meteorologist Magdalena Roze who presented weather updates, while News & Sport updates were presented by various Network Ten journalists. Before being made redundant at Ten, Deborah Knight participated in Breakfast's audition. 2012 Australian Labor Party Leadership Spill
A leadership spill in the Australian Labor Party, the party of government in the Parliament of Australia, was held on 27 February 2012 at 10 am AEDT, followed by a ballot. The Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, announced the spill at a press conference on 23 February 2012, following the resignation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Kevin Rudd, from his cabinet position after months of speculation that he intended to challenge Gillard for the leadership. Lara Bingle
Lara Worthington (née Bingle) (born 22 June 1987) is an Australian model and media personality. She is known for appearing in the 2006 Tourism Australia advertising campaign '' So where the bloody hell are you?''. Her own reality television series, '' Being Lara Bingle'', premiered on Network Ten in June 2012, ending after one season. Early life Bingle dropped out of school at 16 to move to Italy. Carrie Bickmore (born 3 December 1980) is an Australian radio presenter, comedian and former television presenter. She currently co-hosts the national drive radio show on the Hit Network, '' Carrie & Tommy'', from 3–6pm weeknights alongside Tommy Little. John Gilbert Alexander (born 4 July 1951), nicknamed JA, is an Australian former professional tennis player, sports broadcaster, and federal politician. As a tennis player, Alexander reached a career-high singles rank of no. 8 in the world in 1975. Sunrise (or sunup) is the moment when the upper rim of the Sun appears on the horizon in the morning, at the start of the Sun path. The term can also refer to the entire process of the solar disk crossing the horizon.
