Breach (character)
Breach (Major Tim Zanetti) is a fictional superhero published by DC Comics. He first appeared in ''Breach'' #1 (March 2005), and was created by Bob Harras and Marcos Martin. Publication history Breach was originally intended to be a reboot of Captain Atom (Nathaniel Adams) until he was made an original character mid-development. Fictional character biography Tim Zanetti is a US Army Major who works for "Project Otherside", a secret Arctic nuclear reactor that can access other dimensions. After an accident imbues him with interdimensional energy, he is rendered comatose for 20 years and given a containment suit. After being awakened, Zanetti discovers that his former wife Helen has married his former colleague Mac McClellan. MacClellan falsely claims that Zanetti's family was killed in the accident that created him and makes him battle the interdimensional Rifters. In '' Countdown: Arena'', Breach is killed by Monarch.
