Squadron Supreme
The Squadron Supreme is a superhero team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, of which there are several notable alternate versions. The original team was created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema, derived from the previously created supervillain team Squadron Sinister. The core members of the Squadron Supreme are Hyperion, Nighthawk, Doctor Spectrum, Power Princess, and the Whizzer, pastiches of prominent members of rival publisher DC Comics' superhero team the Justice League. Many other characters were later added to the roster, not all of which were based on DC heroes. Publication history The Squadron Supreme has its roots in the Squadron Sinister, which first appeared in '' The Avengers'' #69 as a pastiche of the Justice League. Green Arrow is a superhero who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Mort Weisinger and designed by George Papp, he first appeared in ''More Fun Comics'' No. 73 on September 19, 1941 (cover dated November 1941), the same issue that debuted Aquaman. His secret identity, real name is Oliver Jonas Queen, a wealthy businessman, owner of Queen Industries, and a well-known celebrity in Star City (comics), Star City. He uses this position to hide the fact that he is Green Arrow. Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein first fused together to become Firestorm in ''Firestorm, the Nuclear Man'' #1 (March 1978). Jason Rusch debuted as a modern update of the character in ''Firestorm'' (vol. 3) #1 (July 2004), and was created by Dan Jolley and ChrisCross. Nanny N'astirh N'astirh is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created as a demonic inhabitant of Otherplace. N'astirh first appeared in ''X-Factor'' #32 and was created by Louise Simonson and Jon Bogdanove. N'astirh was a demon with great magical skills and a master manipulator. Despite his power and loyalty to his lord Belasco, Belasco passes him over as a potential apprentice, seeing demons as fit only to be servants. When Illyana Rasputin rises up to replace Belasco as lord of Otherplace, N'astirh steals Belasco's spellbook and flees from Limbo into Earth's past.
