Bushnak (, meaning "Bosnian", also transliterated Bushnaq, Boshnak, Bouchenak and Bouchnak) is a surname common among Levantines and Saudis (Arabic-speakers) of Bosnian Muslim origin. Strahinja Bošnjak (; born 18 February 1999) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Italian Serie D club Gravina. Club career Born in Banja Luka, but spent his childhood in Kraljevo, he started out at local club Čibukovac. He also spent some time at OFK Beograd, before joining the youth system of Partizan. In the summer of 2015, Bošnjak was promoted to the first-team squad in preparations for the 2015–16 season. He was subsequently loaned to their affiliated side Teleoptik in early 2016. Ivan Bošnjak
Ivan Bošnjak (; born 6 February 1979) is a Croatian retired professional footballer who played as a forward. He spent most of his career playing for boyhood club HNK Cibalia, Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split in his native Croatia, as well as Genk in Belgium and Chongqing Lifan in China. Club career Bošnjak started his professional career at local club HNK Cibalia in the 1996–97 season. Ivan Bošnjak ( sr-Cyrl, Иван Бошњак, ; born 4 November 1974) is a Serbian politician and administrator. He was a member of the Assembly of Vojvodina in 2012, served as mayor of Zrenjanin from 2012 to 2014, and was a state secretary in the Serbian ministry of public administration and local self-government from 2014 to 2020. Since late 2022, he serves as a state secretary in the Serbian Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue. Bošnjak is a member of the Serbian Progressive Party (, SNS).
