Cosimo Pinto
Cosimo Pinto (born 14 March 1943) is an Italian retired Amateur boxer who won a gold medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics. Contrary to most of his teammates he remained an amateur and won a bronze medal at the 1967 European championships. Amateur career Pinto started his boxing training after his military service in 1962. He was inspired by the 1960 Summer Olympics bronze medallist Giulio Saraudi. A year into his career, in 1963 Pinto won the gold medal at the Mediterranean Games in his home country and a few months later he travelled to Tokyo and won the Pre-Olympic tournament via knockout over Tadayuki Maruyama. The following year in the Olympics, Pinto had a fairly easy path to the final but then faced Aleksei Kiselyov, who proved he was a tough adversary in the preliminary bouts. Aleksei Ivanovich Kiselyov
Aleksei Ivanovich Kiselyov (; 17 March 1938 – 19 June 2005) was a Russian boxer. Competing for the Soviet Union in light-heavyweight and middleweight divisions he won silver medals at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics and at the 1967 European championships, losing all three finals by a close decision. He won the World Army Championships in 1958, 1961, 1962 and 1966. Kiselyov was an aggressive southpaw boxer who won many bouts by a strong counterattacking blow to the body with his left hand. Kiselyov took up boxing in 1954. He won the Soviet titles in 1964 and 1966, finishing within the podium in other years between 1959 and 1968. Zbigniew Jan Pietrzykowski (4 October 1934 – 19 May 2014) was a Polish boxer. He took part in three Olympic Games, each time winning a medal. He won a bronze medal at Melbourne 1956 in the light middleweight division, after losing in the semi-final to Hungarian László Papp. Four years later in Rome, he reached the final of the light heavyweight division, where he lost to Cassius Clay, who was 7 years younger. Robert Christopherson
Robert H. Christopherson (born October 7, 1936) is an American boxer. He competed in the men's light heavyweight event at the 1964 Summer Olympics. At the 1964 Summer Olympics, he defeated Barkat Ali of Pakistan in Round 32, before losing to Aleksei Kiselyov of the Soviet Union in Round 16 by referee decision. His teammate on the 1964 US Boxing Team, Joe Frazier, went on to win the only 1964 Summer Olympic boxing gold medal for the United States.
