Bossembélé
Bossembélé is a small town in Yaloke-Bossembele, in the Ombella-M'Poko Prefecture of the Central African Republic, lying 157 miles north west of Bangui on the main road to Cameroon. It is known for its market and its nightlife and is home to a cinema and an airstrip. The Lambi Falls lie near the town. History On 23 March 2013 Séléka rebels took control of Bossembélé. On 16 January 2014 anti-balaka entered the town killing 43 people. In July 2017 it was reported that it was under control of security forces. Ombella-M'Poko
Ombella-M'Poko is one of the 20 prefectures of the Central African Republic. Its capital is Boali since 10 December 2020, after the former capital Bimbo had to become part of Bangui Prefecture. In 2024, official estimates suggest the population reached 292,618 inhabitants. Transport In The Central African Republic
Modes of transport in the Central African Republic include road transport, road, water transport, water, and air transport, air. Most of the country is connected to the road network, but not all of it. Some roads in the country do not connect to the rest of the national road network and may become impassable, especially during heavy monsoon rain.
