Borislav Ćurčić
Borislav Ćurčić ( sr-cyr, Борислав Ћурчић; January 27, 1932 – April 15, 2015) was a Serbian basketball player and coach. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Early life Born in the village of Podum near Otočac (nowadays in Croatia), in addition to basketball, Ćurčić also pursued skiing. Playing career Ćurčić played for two Belgrade teams KK Crvena zvezda, Crvena zvezda and KK Partizan, Partizan in the Yugoslav First Basketball League, Yugoslav First League, as well as for Pallacanestro Cantù in Italy for two seasons. During the time with Crvena zvezda he won 6 Yugoslav First Basketball League, Yugoslav Championships. In July 1950, he was a member of the Zvezda squad that won an international cup tournament in Milan, Italy. Sava Banovina
The Sava Banovina or Sava Banate ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, Savska Banovina, Савска бановина), was a province ( banovina) of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia between 1929 and 1939. It was named after the Sava River and consisted of much of the present-day Croatia (the areas of historical Croatia and Slavonia). Until 1931, it also comprised White Carniola, now part of Slovenia. The 1955 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 1955, was the ninth FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship, held by FIBA. Eighteen national teams affiliated with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) entered the competition. The competition was hosted by Hungary, silver medal winners of EuroBasket 1953. Milan "Musa" Bjegojević ( sr-cyr, Милан "Муса" Bjegojević; August 9, 1928 – October 2, 2003) was a Serbian basketball player and coach. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Best known for many years of playing at Crvena Zvezda. In the red-and-whites was from 1947 to 1955, played 113 competitive games and scored 786 points. In all nine seasons with the Red Star became nine consecutive times champion of Yugoslavia.
