Bord Gáis Energy Theatre
The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre (originally the Grand Canal Theatre) is a performing arts venue, located in the Dublin Docklands, Docklands of Dublin, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. It is Ireland's largest fixed-seat theatre. It was designed by Daniel Libeskind for the Dublin Docklands Development Authority, DDDA, built by Joe O'Reilly (Chartered Land), and opened by Harry Crosbie on 18 March 2010. It is owned by Bernie and John Gallagher (of The Doyle Collection, Doyle Hotels), who bought the theatre in 2014 from National Asset Management Agency, NAMA, through their company, Crownway. History The site originally housed various buildings and structures of the Dublin Gasworks Company which were demolished in 1985 and decontaminated by the DDDA in the late 1990s and early 2000s at a cost of over €50M. Cucerdea (, Hungarian pronunciation: ) is a commune in Mureș County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of three villages: Bord (''Bord''), Cucerdea, and Șeulia de Mureș (''Oláhsályi''). The commune is located in the southwestern part of the county, in the center of the Transylvanian Plateau, between the rivers Mureș and Târnava Mică. Cucerdea is situated north of Târnăveni and south of Iernut, at a distance of from the county seat, Târgu Mureș. According to the 2011 Census, the commune has a population of 1,525, of which 97.18% are ethnic Romanians. The Doyle Collection
The Doyle Collection is a group of hotels previously known as Jurys Doyle Hotels. It comprises eight hotels in five cities in Ireland, the UK and the US. History The group's origins lie in the establishment of the South County Hotel (now the Stillorgan Park hotel) in Mount Merrion, Dublin by Pascal Vincent Doyle. He later sold the hotel to finance the development of the more upmarket Montrose hotel near Donnybrook in 1964. ''Swan Lake'' ( rus, Лебеди́ное о́зеро, r=Lebedínoje ózero, p=lʲɪbʲɪˈdʲinəjə ˈozʲɪrə, links=no ), Op. 20, is a ballet composed by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875–76. The 3Arena (originally The O2) is an indoor amphitheatre located at North Wall Quay in the Dublin Docklands in Dublin, Ireland. The National Concert Hall (NCH) (An Ceoláras Náisiúnta) is a national cultural institution, sometimes described as "the home of music in Ireland". Starchitect is a portmanteau used to describe architects whose celebrity and critical acclaim have transformed them into stars of the architecture world and may even have given them some degree of fame among the general public. Celebrity status is generally associated with avant-gardist novelty.
