Bora Öztürk
Bora Öztürk (20 May 1955 — 6 August 1997) was a Turkish professional football player who played as a striker. Career Bora was a strong and tall striker, who began his senior career at Sakaryaspor in 1973. He followed that up with stints at Şekerspor, Göztepe, and Altay. He made his name for his successful tenure at Beşiktaş winning two Süper Ligs, and as the top scorer when on loan with Adanaspor in the 1980–81 1.Lig season. He finished his career with Zonguldakspor in 1988. He died of pharyngeal cancer in 1997. International career Bora made one appearance for the Turkey national football team in a 3-0 1982 FIFA World Cup qualification loss to the Soviet Union on 7 October 1981. Rumelikavağı
Rumelikavağı, also known as Rumeli Kavağı, is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Sarıyer, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 3,657 (2022). "Rumeli" is the Turkish name for Thrace, and "Kavak" means "control post" in Ottoman Turkish referring to the strategic position of the location on the Bosporus. The ferry pier which is the center of the neighborhood is at . Formerly, it was a small fishing village. In the 17th century, a castle was built to check Cossack naval assaults from the Black Sea. In 1877, during the Russo-Turkish War (1877-1878), a part of the immigrants from the Russian occupied provinces settled in Rumelikavağı. Up until the 1960s, most of Rumelikavağı was a restricted zone by military. There are many places of interest in Rumelikavağı, such as ruins of medieval castles, mosques, churches, fountains, hamams etc. The Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge over the Bosphorus is to the north of the neighborhood. Listed below are the dates and results for the 1982 FIFA World Cup qualification rounds for the European zone (UEFA). For an overview of the qualification rounds, see the article '' 1982 FIFA World Cup qualification''. A total of 32 UEFA teams entered the qualifying competition. Moreover, Israel were also assigned to the European zone despite not being a UEFA member. The European zone was allocated 14 places (out of 24) in the final tournament.
