Bora Milutinović
Velibor "Bora" Milutinović ( sr-Cyrl, Велибор Бора Милутиновић; born 7 September 1944) is a Serbian former professional footballer and manager. He has managed at five editions of the FIFA World Cup, tied for the record alongside Brazilian manager Carlos Alberto Parreira, but did so in five consecutive World Cups with different teams: Mexico ( 1986), Costa Rica (1990), the United States (1994), Nigeria (1998) and China (2002). He is also the first manager to take four teams beyond the first round – all but China – earning the nickname of ''Miracle Worker'', first given to him by Alan Rothenberg, then president of the United States Soccer Federation. Bajina Bašta ( sr-Cyrl, Бајина Башта, ) is a town and municipality located in the Zlatibor District of western Serbia. The town lies in the valley of the Drina river at the eastern edge of Tara National Park. According to the 2022 census, the town's population is 8,971 inhabitants, while the municipality has 23,533 inhabitants. Etymology The name comes from the vast orchards and vegetable gardens, that used to be located on the left bank of the Pilica River, which belonged to a Turkish feudal owner, Baja Osman, who established the town's modern image in the mid-19th century. The 1997 Copa America was the 38th edition of the Copa America. It was held in Bolivia from 11 to 29 June. It was organized by CONMEBOL, South America's football governing body. The 1996 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the third edition of the Gold Cup, the soccer championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). The tournament returned to the United States and California; the games were hosted by Los Angeles, San Diego, and Anaheim.
