Booksmart
''Booksmart'' is a 2019 American coming-of-age comedy film directed by Olivia Wilde (in her feature directorial debut) and written by Emily Halpern, Sarah Haskins, Susanna Fogel, and Katie Silberman. It stars Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever as two graduating high school girls who set out to finally break the rules and party on their last day of classes. Jessica Williams, Lisa Kudrow, Will Forte, and Jason Sudeikis also star. The film had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 10, 2019, and was theatrically released in the United States on May 24, by United Artists Releasing. Susanna Fogel
Susanna Fogel is an American director, screenwriter and author, best known for co-writing the 2019 film ''Booksmart'' and for co-writing and directing the 2018 action/comedy ''The Spy Who Dumped Me''. Her many accolades include a DGA Award and nominations at the BAFTA Film Awards, the Primetime Emmy Awards and the WGA Awards. Katie Silberman is an American screenwriter and film producer. She is most known for writing the screenplays to ''Set It Up'' (2018), ''Booksmart'' (2019), and ''Don't Worry Darling'' (2022). Career Silberman earned her BA from Dartmouth College and her Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University School of the Arts. Silberman wrote the screenplay and served as a co-producer on romantic comedy film ''Set It Up'', which appeared on the 2015 Black List. It was released in June 2018 by Netflix. Silberman co-wrote ''Isn't It Romantic'' alongside Dana Fox and Erin Cardillo, directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson.
