Bonnyrigg is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 36 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the Local government in Australia, local government area of the City of Fairfield. It is part of the Greater Western Sydney region. History Bonnyrigg takes its name from Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, Scotland. In 1803, Governor King Arthur Philip granted land for the building of an orphanage. A two-storey Georgian house was erected in Brown Road and became the Male Orphan Schoolchildren's Residence. It was extended around 1914 and is now listed on the Register of the National Estate. The Cumberland Line (numbered T5 and coloured magenta) is a commuter rail line operated by Sydney Trains in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It connects Schofields railway station, Schofields and Leppington railway station, Leppington stations in the western suburbs. Limited services extend from Schofields to Richmond railway station, Sydney, Richmond. The line opened in 1996, following the construction of a 'Y-link' track between Harris Park railway station, Harris Park and Merrylands railway station, Merrylands stations. Police & Community Youth Clubs (PCYC) or Police and Community Youth Clubs is a network of Australian non-profit, community organisations, founded in New South Wales. In some states such as NSW, they are constituted as an Incorporated Association. Busby is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Busby is located 37 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Liverpool.
