Laurence BonJour
Laurence BonJour (born August 31, 1943) is an American philosopher and Emeritus of Philosophy at the University of Washington. Education and career He received his bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and Political Science from Macalester College and his doctorate in 1969 from Princeton University with a dissertation directed by Richard Rorty. Before moving to UW he taught at the University of Texas at Austin. Philosophical work BonJour specializes in epistemology, Kant, and British empiricism, but is best known for his contributions to epistemology. Initially defending coherentism in his anti-foundationalist critique ''The Structure of Empirical Knowledge'' (1985), BonJour subsequently moved to defend Cartesian foundationalism in later work such as 1998's ''In Defense of Pure Reason''. Martín Bonjour
Martín Bonjour (born 4 September 1985) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Career Bonjour began his career in Argentina with Olimpo and made his debut in the first division during the 2003 season. He was sent on loan to Racing de Olavarría for the duration of the 2004 season. He moved to Uruguay in 2005 and joined Rentistas, appearing in 34 matches for Rentistas and scoring three goals. During the 2006 season he was sent on loan to Lech Poznań in Poland. At the conclusion of his contract with Rentistas, Bonjour joined Universidad César Vallejo in Peru. He enjoyed a solid season with César Vallejo before returning to Uruguay in 2009. This time the Argentine defender signed with Uruguayan Primera División side Rampla Juniors. Bonjour Stradivarius
The Bonjour Stradivari cello was made by famous luthier Antonio Stradivari 1692. The instrument is named after the amateur 19th-century Parisian cellist Abel Bonjour. On the death of Bonjour sometime after 1885 the cello passed via Fridolin Hamma of Stuttgart to Dr. Hans Kühne of Cologne, who loaned the cello to the Stradivari Bicentennial exhibition in Cremona in 1937. Other owners include The Habisreutinger Foundation of St. Gallen, Switzerland, soloist Robert Cohen (cellist), Robert Cohen (who played it between 1984 and 1993) and Martin Lovett of the Amadeus Quartet. The present owner acquired it in the fall of 1999 and it is currently on loan to The Canada Council for the Arts Instrument Bank, which then loans this instrument for 3 years to the winner of its national competition. Bonjour (software)
Bonjour is Apple's implementation of zero-configuration networking (zeroconf), a group of technologies that includes service discovery, address assignment, and hostname resolution. Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records. The software comes built-in with Apple's macOS and iOS operating systems. Bonjour can also be installed onto computers running Microsoft Windows. Bonjour components may also be included within other software such as iTunes and Safari. It was originally introduced in 2002 with Mac OS X 10.2 with the name Rendezvous. Weebl's Cartoons
Jonti Picking, also known as Weebl, has created many Flash cartoons which are posted on the Internet. His best known cartoon, ''Weebl and Bob'', once aired in short episodes on MTV. Other popular cartoons include Badgers and Catface. Picking has also created several interactive videogames. Weebl and Bob Weebl's most well-known Flash cartoon is Weebl and Bob. Created in June 2002, it became popular when noticed by MTV Europe, MTV who broadcast short episodes on its cable channel. The series revolves around two egg-like creatures called Weebl and Bob, who are best friends. They speak in a heavily mumbled manner almost indecipherable to the watcher; however, their speech is also shown in speech bubbles.
