Bonita Gloria Granville Wrather (February 2, 1923 – October 11, 1988) was an American actress and producer. The daughter of vaudevillians, Granville began her career on the stage at age three. She initially began as a child actress, making her film debut in ''Westward Passage'' (1932). She rose to prominence for her role in '' These Three'' (1936), which earned her an Academy Award nomination at age fourteen. Zarrillo (born ) is a Canadian politician and who was the Member of Parliament for Port Moody—Coquitlam (federal electoral district), Port Moody—Coquitlam elected in the 2021 Canadian federal election. She had previously narrowly lost the riding in 2019 Canadian federal election, 2019 to the Conservative Party of Canada, Conservative Party's Nelly Shin. Bonita Williams was a British West-Indian Communist Party leader, poet, and civil rights activist in Harlem, New York during the Great Depression in the 1930s. During this time, she wrote several poems and gave speeches focusing on black suffrage and workers' rights in the context of racial discrimination and class inequity. In addition, Williams served as the leader of several Harlem-based organizations, namely the Harlem Unemployment Council, Harlem Tenants' League, Harlem Action Committee against the High Cost of Living, and League of Struggle for Negro Rights (LSNR). Bonita Wa Wa Calachaw Nuñez (December 25, 1888 May 12, 1972), also known as Wa Wa Chaw, Princess Wa Wa Chaw, and Wawa Calac Chaw or "Keep From the Water," was a Native American artist, activist, and writer. She was active in the Pan-Indianism, Pan-Indian Movement in the early 1900s and was close friends with Apache scholar Carlos Montezuma. Nuñez donated 20 of her paintings to the National Museum of the American Indian before her death, where they're still held today. After her death, Stan Steiner compiled her writings and published the book ''Spirit Woman: The Diaries and Paintings of Bonita Wa Wa Calachaw Nuñez.'' Bonita Norris (born 1987) is best known for becoming the youngest British woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest at the age of 22 from May 2010 until May 2012, when her record was broken by Leanna Shuttleworth, aged 19. In 2011 Bonita climbed Ama Dablam with Lhakpa Wongchu Sherpa and in 2012, Bonita returned to the Himalayas for her fifth expedition, to attempt Lhotse, the world's fourth-highest mountain. Ernestine Bonita Mabo (née Neehow; – 26 November 2018), was an Australian educator and activist for Aboriginal Australians, Torres Strait Islanders, and Australian South Sea Islanders. She was the wife of Eddie Mabo until his death in 1992. Early life Ernestine Bonita Neehow was born in Halifax, Queensland, one of 10 children. She was an Australian South Sea Islander of Ni-Vanuatu descent whose ancestors were "Blackbirding, blackbirded" to work in the sugar cane industry in Queensland. Her grandfather was blackbirded from Tanna Island in what is now Vanuatu.
