Bollstanäs SK is a Swedish professional football club located in Upplands Väsby in Stockholm County. Background Bollstanäs Sportklubb was formed in May 1922 and is one of the largest sports clubs in the Greater Stockholm area running a total of 93 teams (82 of which are youth teams) in football, basketball, handball and bandy. The first sections were basketball for girls and football for boys. Upplands Väsby () is a locality and the seat of Upplands Väsby Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden with 48,907 inhabitants in 2020. History The municipality has a long history with clear traces of settlements from the pre-Christian times in several places. Superettan (; ) is an association football league and the second highest league in the Swedish football league system, league system of Swedish football, Swedish men's football. The Stockholms Fotbollförbund (; StFF) is one of the 24 district organisations of the Swedish Football Association. It administers lower tier football in Stockholm County. Background Stockholms Fotbollförbund is the governing body for football in Stockholm County (except some peripherical municipalities).
