Bolkesjø is a village in Notodden Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. 1994 Progress Party National Convention
The 1994 national convention of the Progress Party of Norway was held from 15 April to 17 April at the hotel Bolkesjø Turisthotell in Bolkesjø, Telemark. It was originally set up to be a normal convention with 157 delegates in a non-election year, but because of mounting antagonism between a traditionalist and a libertarian faction, it became clear some months before the conventions that personal positions could be at stake. The party leader seat, held by Carl I. Hagen since 1978, was up for re-election. The deputy leaders Ellen Wibe and Hans J. Røsjorde was not up for election until 1995, but there were talks about forming a motion of no confidence against Wibe. The political disagreements roughly corresponded to a cleavage between two factions. The traditionalist (also called populist) faction was represented by party leader Carl I. is a municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Aust-Telemark. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Notodden. Other population centres include the villages of Bolkesjø, Gransherad, Heddal, Hjuksebø, Hjuksevelta, Rudsgrendi, Tinnoset, and Yli. Gransherad is a village in Notodden Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The village is located along the river Tinnelva, about to the south of the village of Tinnoset and the lake Tinnsjå. Telemark () is a Counties of Norway, county and a current electoral district in Norway. Telemark borders the counties of Vestfold, Buskerud, Vestland, Rogaland and Agder. Bletoppen or Store Ble is a mountain in Tinn Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The tall mountain is located about southeast of the village of Hovin and about north of the town of Notodden. The mountain is the highest mountain in the Blefjell mountain range which lies on the border of Telemark and Buskerud.
