Bokšić, Vukovar-Srijem County
Bokšić is a small Settlement (Croatia), village south of Čakovci in the municipality of Tompojevci. The village of Bokšić began to be settled in 1941. Residents from the vicinity of Velika Gorica settled in Bokšić who were looking for fertile land, and in order to get a permit to move they had to be moral and exemplary citizens and pay all tax obligations to the state. Syrmia
Syrmia (Ekavian sh-Latn-Cyrl, Srem, Срем, separator=" / " or Ijekavian sh-Latn-Cyrl, Srijem, Сријем, label=none, separator=" / ") is a region of the southern Pannonian Plain, which lies between the Danube and Sava rivers. Podunavlje
Podunavlje is the name of the Danube river basin parts located in Croatia (Slavonia, Syrmia, and Baranya) and Serbia (Vojvodina, Belgrade and Eastern Serbia). Podunavlje is located on the southern edge of Pannonian Basin. In its wider meaning, the Croatian term refers to the area around the entire flow of the river Danube. Tompojevci
Tompojevci (, Rusyn: Томпоєвци, sr-cyr, Томпојевци) is a village and municipality in the Vukovar-Syrmia County in Croatia. The village of Tompojevci was first mentioned in the 13th century, in Hungarian documents as Tomteleke. The Croatian name of the village, Tompojevci, appears for the first time in 1581. According to the population census from 1847, Tompojevci had 501 inhabitants, 492 Catholics and 9 Orthodox. According to the 2011 census, there are 1,565 inhabitants in the municipality. Čakovci (, ) is a Settlement (Croatia), village in the Tompojevci municipality in eastern Croatia. Name The name of the village in Croatian language, Croatian is plural. Velika Gorica () is the largest and most populous city in Zagreb County, Croatia.
