Bojan Dimitrijević (politician)
Bojan Dimitrijević (born 1963 in Gornji Milanovac, Socialist Republic of Serbia, SR Serbia, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian economist and politician. He was Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services in the Cabinet of Serbia (2004–2007), Serbian government formed by the coalition of Democratic Party of Serbia, DSS, G17+, and Serbian Renewal Movement, SPO-New Serbia (political party), NS and headed by prime minister Vojislav Koštunica. In 1996 Dimitrijević received a Doctor of Philosophy, PhD from the University of Belgrade's University of Belgrade Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Economics. He was co-minister of finance in the transitional Government of Serbia in 2000. He was member of Vuk Drašković's Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO). During the 2005 breakup of SPO when a faction left the party to form Serbian Democratic Renewal Movement (SDPO), Dimitrijević did not take a side. The Serbian Democratic Renewal Movement () was a Monarchism, monarchist political party in Serbia. The SDPO was formed in 2005, after a split in the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO). The split was the result of major disagreements with the leadership of Vuk Drašković and his influential wife Danica Drašković. The SDPO last participated in the 2007 Serbian parliamentary election in coalition with the Democratic Party of Serbia and New Serbia (political party), New Serbia. The SDPO ceased to exist in 2010, on the national level, after the new law on political parties was taken by the parliament demanding all parties to register again under new conditions.
