The Boisé du Tremblay is a wooded area in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada. The wooded area is located partially in the borough of Le Vieux-Longueuil and partially within the city of Boucherville. The territory of the woods is , of which belongs to the City of Longueuil. The Boisé du Tremblay's biodiversity is considered to be unique within the Montérégie region. It is part of the blue-green infrastructure of Greater Montreal as well as the Mont Saint-Bruno Forest Corridor. It is home to numerous species of flora and fauna, notably the Western chorus frog. Le Vieux-Longueuil (, ) is a borough in the city of Longueuil. From 2002 to 2006, Le Vieux-Longueuil borough stood for what used to be the city of Longueuil from 1969 to 2002. The former city of Longueuil was composed of 3 cities merged in the 1960s: Ville Jacques-Cartier, Montréal-Sud and Longueuil. Since 2006, Le Vieux-Longueuil borough stands for the combination of the former city of Longueuil and LeMoyne. The western chorus frog (''Pseudacris triseriata''), also known as striped chorus frog, or midland chorus frog is a species of frog found in Canada and the United States. Description Western chorus frogs are small , smooth skinned, and greenish-grey, reddish, olive, or brown in color. Differences in color can occur locally and should not be confused for range-specific populations. Typically, these frogs have three dark-brown or grey stripes which extend down the entire dorsal side. The dorsal stripes can be broken up, reduced, or even absent in certain specimens. The white or cream-colored underside or ventral side of the frog typically has dark, scattered flecks. Mont Saint-Bruno (; also known as Mount Saint Bruno in English) is part of the Monteregian Hills in southern Quebec, Canada. Its summit stands high and lies east of downtown Montreal. This mountain has a ski resort, a natural area, and an apple orchard. Forests of beech, maple, oak, hickory, ironwood, Tsuga, hemlock and pine cover those slopes which have not been cleared for agriculture or skiing. Boucherville () is a city in the Montérégie region in Quebec, Canada. It is a suburb of Montreal on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River. Boucherville is part of both the urban agglomeration of Longueuil and the Montreal Metropolitan Community regional government.
