Bodeli
Bodeli is a town and taluka in Chhota Udaipur district in the eastern part of the state of Gujarat, India. History Bodeli became a taluka on 26 January 2013 along with the new district of Chhota Udaipur. It was part of the Vadodara district, but after the formation of the new Chhota Udaipur district, it went to that district. Bodeli is situated on the Orsang river's bank. Orsang is the biggest river of Chhotaudepur district. It is the main source of the sand in this area. Narmada canal passes near Bodeli. Here a major bus accident occurred on the bridge of Narmada canal in 2008. Sheth T.C. Kapadia is the only college in Bodeli town, an arts and commerce college. Chhota Udaipur district is a district in the state of Gujarat in India. It was carved out of the Vadodara district on 26 January 2013 with its headquarters at Chhota Udaipur town and is the 28th district of Gujarat. Establishment The district consists of the six talukas of Chhota Udaipur, Jetpur Pavi, Kawant, Naswadi, Sankheda and the newly created Bodeli taluka. The district headquarters is located at Chhota Udaipur. The district was created to facilitate decentralisation and ease of access to government services. Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS; ) is a Hindu denomination within the Swaminarayan Sampradaya. It was formed in 1905 by Shastri Yagnapurushdas ( Shastriji Maharaj) following his conviction that Swaminarayan remained present on earth through a lineage of gurus starting with Gunatitanand Swami. Sardar Sarovar Project
The Sardar Sarovar Dam is a concrete gravity dam built on the Narmada River near the town of Kevadiya, in Narmada District, in the Indian state of Gujarat. The dam was constructed to provide water and electricity to the Indian states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation of the project on 5 April 1961.
