Blue diamond is a type of diamond which exhibits all of the same inherent properties of the mineral except with the additional element of blue color in the stone. They are colored blue by trace amounts of boron that contaminate the crystalline lattice structure. Blue diamonds belong to a subcategory of diamonds called fancy color diamonds, the generic name for diamonds that exhibit intense color. The Blue Diamond Affair is a series of unresolved crimes and embittered diplomatic relations triggered by the 1989 theft of gems belonging to the House of Saud by a Thai employee. The affair has soured relations between Saudi Arabia and Thailand for over 30 years. Theft In 1989, Kriangkrai Techamong, a Thai worker, stole 91 kg (200 pounds) of jewelry and other valuable gems from the palace of Prince Faisal bin Fahd, where he was employed as a servant. Impatiens Namchabarwensis
''Impatiens namchabarwensis'' (blue diamond impatiens) is a 40–50 cm tall plant, native to the Himalaya. It is an annual plant, although it may live for several years in mild climates that do not freeze in winter. This new species was discovered in the Namcha Barwa canyon in Tibet in the summer of 2003 by Yuan Yong-Ming and Ge Xue-Jun. It was growing at an elevation of 930 m in a very limited area. Stems are much branched, slightly woody at base; lower stems decumbent, often rooting at nodes. Flowers are bright ultramarine blue, with small white markings at center and yellow in throat. Blue Diamond is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, debuting under the company's 1940s forerunner, Timely Comics. The Blue Diamond Society (BDS; Nepali: नील हीरा समाज) is an LGBT rights organization in Nepal. It was established in 2001 to advocate for change in the existing laws against homosexuality and to advocate for the rights of Nepal's marginalized gay, transgender and other sexual minority communities. The Blue and Green Diamonds are twin towers in Miami Beach, Florida, United States. They are both and 44 floors. They are the tallest buildings in Miami Beach, and were both completed in 2000.
