Bladensburg Road–Anacostia Line
The Bladensburg Road-Anacostia Line, designated as Route B2, was a daily bus route operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between Anacostia station of the Green Line (WMATA), Green Line of the Washington Metro & Mount Rainier Terminal in Mount Rainier, Maryland, Mount Rainier. Route B2 operated every 10 - 20 minutes at all times. B2 trips were roughly 56 minutes to complete. Background Route B2 operated daily between Mount Rainier, Maryland, Mount Rainier terminal and Anacostia station mostly operating along Bladensburg Road. Additional school trips from Eastern High School (Washington, D.C.), Eastern High School also operated during school days. Frederick Douglass National Historic Site
The Frederick Douglass National Historic Site, administered by the National Park Service, is located at 1411 W Street, SE, in Anacostia, a neighborhood east of the Anacostia River in Southeast Washington, D.C. United States. Established in 1988 as a National Historic Site, the site preserves the home and estate of Frederick Douglass, one of the most prominent African Americans of the 19th century. Douglass lived in this house, which he named Cedar Hill, from 1877–1878 until his death in 1895. The Chillum Road Line, designated as Route F1 is a daily bus route operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between Cheverly station of the Orange Line of the Washington Metro and Takoma station of the Red Line. West Hyattsville Station
West Hyattsville station is a Washington Metro station in Hyattsville, Maryland on the Green Line. It is the first station in Prince George's County, Maryland northeast on the Green Line, and is located at 2700 Hamilton Street, near the west side of Ager Road and the north side of Queens Chapel Road.
