William Haislip Squier (, born May 12, 1950) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter who had a string of arena rock and crossover hits in the early 1980s. His best-known songs include " The Stroke", " Lonely Is the Night", " My Kinda Lover", " In the Dark", " Rock Me Tonite", " Everybody Wants You", " Emotions in Motion", " Love Is the Hero", and " Don't Say You Love Me".
