Bienvenido Cedeño
Bienvenido Cedeno (born January 1, 1969) is a Panamanian former baseball pitcher. He was on Panama's roster for the 2006 World Baseball Classic. He made two appearances in that World Baseball Classic, allowing seven hits in innings of work, and posted a 4.91 ERA. Panama National Baseball Team
The Panama national baseball team (Spanish language, Spanish: ''Selección de béisbol de Panamá'') is the baseball team that represents Panama at an international level. Along with Nicaragua national baseball team, Nicaragua, they are considered to be the best baseball team in Central America, and one of the best in Latin America. Panama has medalled at multiple international tournaments at both junior and senior levels throughout the sport's history, including one silver medal and two bronze medals at the Baseball World Cup. 2006 World Baseball Classic
The 2006 World Baseball Classic (WBC) was the inaugural tournament between national baseball teams that included players from Major League Baseball. It was held from March 3 to 20 in stadiums in or around Tokyo, Japan, and the American cities of San Juan, Puerto Rico; Lake Buena Vista, Florida; Phoenix, Arizona; Scottsdale, Arizona; Anaheim, California; and San Diego, California. The VI Central American Games (''Spanish: VI Juegos Deportivos Centroamericanos'') was a multi-sport event that took place between 5–15 December 1997. The shooting competitions were hosted by San Salvador, El Salvador. The XIV Bolivarian Games (Spanish: ''Juegos Bolivarianos'') were a multi-sport event held between September 7–16, 2001, in Ambato, Ecuador. Some events took place in Guayaquil and in Quito. The Games were organized by the Bolivarian Sports Organization ( ODEBO). The opening ceremony took place on September 7, 2001, at the Estadio Bellavista in Ambato, Ecuador.
