Bhutan National Under-20 Football Team
The Bhutan national under-20 football team represents Bhutan in men's international under-20 football. The team is controlled by the governing body for football in Bhutan, the Bhutan Football Federation, which is a member of the Asian Football Confederation and the South Asian Football Federation. History The team made their competitive debut in 2015 at the 2015 SAFF U-19 Championship. Their debut match was a 3–1 loss to Nepal. Club Brugge youth player Bimal Magar opened the scoring after ten minutes for the hosts, but Bhutan equalised straightaway through defender Sonam Tobgay. They were unable to capitalise on this however as Magar, despite missing a penalty, went on to complete his hat-trick to seal victory for Nepal. The Bhutan Football Federation (Dzongkha: འབྲུག་རྐང་རིལ་ཚོགས་སྡེ) is the governing body of football in Bhutan, controlling Bhutan national football team, Bhutan women's national football team and Bhutan national futsal team. Nguyễn Hữu Tuấn (born 12 March 2005) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a winger for V.League 2 club Huế, on loan from Thể Công-Viettel. Club career Born in Hải Dương, Hữu Tuấn was a youth product of Viettel. In October 2023, he joined V.League 2 club Huế until the end of the 2023–24 season. Nguyễn Công Phương (born 3 June 2006) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for V.League 1 side Thể Công-Viettel. Nguyễn Đăng Dương (born 7 September 2005) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a striker for V.League 1 club Thể Công-Viettel. Club career Đăng Dương was a youth product of Viettel. Nguyễn Bảo Long (born 23 August 2005) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a left back for V.League 2 club PVF-CAND and the Vietnam national under-20 team. The Lạch Tray Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Hai Phong, Vietnam. The 2025 AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualification was an international men's under-20 football competition which was held to decide the participating teams of the 2025 AFC U-20 Asian Cup. Draw 45 out of 47 AFC member associations entered the competition. China (as the hosts of the final tournament) did not participate; nor did Pakistan. The draw was held on 13 June 2024.
