Beștepe is a commune in Tulcea County, Northern Dobruja, Romania Romania is a country located at the crossroads of Central Europe, Central, Eastern Europe, Eastern and Southeast Europe. In 2004, the commune was established via a local referendum by separation from the Mahmudia commune. Northern Dobruja ( or simply ; , ''Severna Dobrudzha'') is the part of Dobruja within the borders of Romania.
