Per Bertil Norström (9 September 1923 – 6 September 2012) was a Swedish actor. Born in Sala Municipality, Sweden, Sala, he was married to the actress Margreth Weivers from 1947 until his death. Tjuvarnas jul (The Thieves' Christmas) was a 2011 TV series for children that was the '' SVT Christmas calendar'' broadcast from 1–24 December by Sveriges Television. The plot focuses on a thief named Kurre and his little daughter Charlie. It has a style reminiscent of Charles Dickens's stories. Plot The series is set in Stockholm during the 19th century. Kurre feeds entirely on stealing. He is involved in a gang of thieves led by the evil old woman Madame Bofvén. He lives alone in a loft, until a little girl named Ing-Britt (later renamed Charlie by Madame Bofvén) who is his daughter shows up outside his door. During the series, they approach each other as father and daughter, while Madame Bofvén planning to rob the big department store and the police seek diligently after the thieves. ''Hjälp!'' () was a Swedish situation comedy television series, broadcast on the TV4 (Sweden), TV4 network. It revolved around a psychologist, Jeanette Placzycks, played by Stina Ekblad, who treated patients with a variety of problems. The series had three seasons, and it was broadcast in 2007 — 2009. According to TV4, the first season had peak viewing figures of more than 1.5 million viewers. The first season of the programme was reported to the Swedish Broadcasting Commission for treating a stuttering person as an amusing caricature in a way that ridiculed and humiliated people with the disability. The commission ruled that since the entire TV show presented exaggerated caricatures of mental issues and other disabilities, which were not intended to be taken seriously, the specific situations mentioned in the report did not violate the Swedish Radio and Television Act. ''The Emperor of Portugallia'' (Swedish: ''Kejsarn av Portugallien'') is a novel by Nobel-laureate Selma Lagerlöf, published in 1914 with drawings by Albert Engström. Lagerlöf called it a "Swedish King Lear". The novel was a success with critics and readers, newspaper reviewers said the novel was at the same level as Lagerlöf's earlier novels ''Gösta Berling's Saga'' and the first part of ''Jerusalem''. It has been filmed three times: 1925, 1944 and 1992. An English translation by Velma Swanston Howard was published in 1916. Plot The novel takes place in 1860 or 1870 in Lagerlöf's native Värmland and is about the tenant farmer Jan in Skrolycka and his daughter Glory Goldie Sunnycastle (Klara Fina Gulleborg, nicknamed "Klara Gulla", in original).
