Bernadette Collins
Bernadette "Bernie" Collins is a Formula One (F1) strategy analyst for Sky Sports and F1TV and former F1 strategy engineer for the Aston Martin F1 team. Born in Northern Ireland, she began her career as a trainee with McLaren after graduating from Queen's University Belfast in 2009. Three years later, Collins became a performance engineer and became its leader in that role full-time in 2014, working with 2009 World Champion Jenson Button. She joined Force India in 2015 and helped the team finish 4th in the following year's Constructors' Championship. Collins was an ambassador for the United Kingdom government's "Make it in Great Britain" campaign in 2012, and featured on ''Forbes'' 2016 list of 30 Under 30 list for Manufacturing & Industry in Europe. Maguiresbridge is a small village in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. The village is named after the bridge over the Colebrooke River, first built by the local Maguire family about 1760. The village is 8 miles from Enniskillen and 3 miles from Lisnaskea. The McLaren Technology Centre is the headquarters of the McLaren Group and its subsidiaries, located on a site in Woking, Surrey, England. The complex consists of two buildings: the original McLaren Technology Centre, which acts as the main headquarters for the group, and the newer McLaren Production Centre, primarily used for manufacturing McLaren Automotive cars. The main building is a large, roughly semi-circular, glass-walled building, designed by architect Norman Foster and his company, Foster + Partners. Formula Student is a student engineering competition held annually. Student teams from around the world design, build, test, and race a small-scale formula style racing car. The cars are judged on a number of criteria. It is run by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and uses the same rules as the original Formula SAE with supplementary regulations. Mount Lourdes Grammar School is a Roman Catholic girls' grammar school in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. The school educates Catholic girls from County Fermanagh and surrounding areas. The school is located within the parish of Enniskillen, one of the largest parishes in the Diocese of Clogher. History Mount Lourdes Grammar School was established in 1909 by the Sisters of Mercy as the Convent Intermediate school. This was in response to a need to offer secondary school education to Catholic girls in County Fermanagh.
