Beppu Onsen
is an extensive hot spring system in the city of Beppu, Ōita, Japan. There are eight distinct major thermal spring zones called ''"Beppu Hatto"''（別府八湯). There are rich hot spring resources in Beppu; the volume of water discharged from the Beppo system is second in volume to that of the Yellowstone National Park in the Western United States. Beppu Tower
is a lattice tower located in Beppu, Ōita, Japan. Initially built to help boost tourism in the area, today the tower is primarily used as TV transmission tower. It has an observation deck at a height of . History Beppu Tower was built in two years, from 1956 to 1957 and was originally planned to open the Beppu Tourism Exhibition, held from March 20 through May 20, 1957. Mount Tsurumi
is a volcano in Beppu, Ōita, Japan. Outline Mount Tsurumi is a lava dome. It has several peaks, including Mount Kuranoto, Mount Uchi, and Mount Garan. Mount Yufu
is a volcano located on the border of Yufu and Beppu, Ōita, Japan. It is located within Aso Kujū National Park. Overview Mount Yufu is a stratovolcano. Its most recent eruption about 2,200 years ago caused part of the mountain to collapse. Sometimes referred to as " Bungo Fuji," it has two peaks.
