Benoît Mondou
Benoît Mondou (born May 3, 1985) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who is last played for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds of the Swiss-B league. He was selected by the Boston Bruins in the 8th round (247th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Junior Mondou as born in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. He played Major junior hockey in the QMJHL with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar and Shawinigan Cataractes. During the 2001–02 QMJHL season, Mondou was an offensive force with the Drakkar, scoring 70 points to set the team's single season for most points by a rookie. That same season he won the Michel Bergeron Trophy as the QMJHL's Offensive Rookie of the Year, the RDS Cup as the QMJHL's overall Rookie of the Year, and was named to the QMJHL's All-Rookie team. HC La Chaux-de-Fonds is a Swiss professional ice hockey team who currently play in the Swiss League (SL). Founded in 1919, La Chaux-de-Fonds play at the Patinoire des Mélèzes in front of a capacity 5,225. Austrian Hockey League
The ICE Hockey League (International Central European Hockey League, ICEHL), known as the win2day ICE Hockey League for sponsorship reasons, is a Central European hockey league that also serves as the top-tier ice hockey league in Austria. It currently features additional teams from Hungary, Italy, and Slovenia. The league was known as the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga (EBEL) from 2003 until 2020 and as the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League during the 2021–22 season. American Hockey League
The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league in North America that serves as the primary developmental league of the National Hockey League (NHL). The league comprises 32 teams, with 26 in the United States and 6 in Canada. As of the 2024–25 AHL season, all 32 NHL teams held affiliations with an AHL team. The ECHL (formerly the East Coast Hockey League) is a minor professional ice hockey league based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, with teams across the United States and Canada. The 2006–07 ECHL season was the 19th season of the ECHL. The league had 25 teams for 2006–07. The Brabham Cup regular season champions were the Las Vegas Wranglers and the Kelly Cup playoff champions were the Idaho Steelheads. League changes Two teams returned to the ECHL after suspensions: the Texas Wildcatters and the Cincinnati Cyclones. The Wildcatters had to suspend operations for the 2005–06 season as a byproduct of damage to their home arena caused by Hurricane Rita. The New Jersey Devils are a professional ice hockey team based in Newark, New Jersey. The 2003–04 QMJHL season was the List of QMJHL seasons, 35th season in the history of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The league continued to expand to new eastern markets, with teams relocating to Maine and Prince Edward Island. Conferences were abandoned and teams were divided into three divisions by geography. Sixteen teams played 70 games each in the schedule. The Lewiston Maineiacs became the league's second American-based team in history after the Plattsburgh Pioneers, and first to survive a full season. The P.E.I. Rocket also became the first major junior hockey team based on Prince Edward Island.
