Benjamin Gaulon
Benjamin Gaulon (born 29 March 1979 in Montereau-Fault-Yonne, Seine-et-Marne, France) is a French artist whose work focuses on planned obsolescence, consumerism and Throw-away society, disposable society. He has previously released work under the name "recyclism". Biography Benjamin Gaulon received a degree in Visual Communication from l'École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg and a MFA in Interactive Media & Environment from the Frank Mohr Institute. During his time at the Frank Mohr Institute, he developed several high-profile projects, including de Pong Game, the Recycling Entertainment System, The PrintBall and Corrupt. After Graduating Gaulon started leading D.A.T.A (Dublin Art and Technology Association) and co-founded the Irish Museum of Contemporary Art (IMOCA) in 2007. Since 2005, in collaboration with Lourens Rozema, Gaulon is running workshops entitled the e-waste workshops, inviting participants to create art projects from recycled electronic waste. B ... Montereau-Fault-Yonne
Montereau-Fault-Yonne (, before 1992: ''Montereau-Faut-Yonne''), or simply Montereau, is a Communes of France, commune in the Seine-et-Marne Departments of France, department in the Île-de-France Regions of France, region in north-central France. Geography Montereau-Fault-Yonne straddles the confluence of the rivers Yonne (river), Yonne and Seine at the far south-east of the Île-de-France region, 70 km southeast of its administrative centre, Paris. The A5 autoroute (Paris–Troyes–Chaumont) passes northeast of the town. Montereau station links by rail Laroche-Migennes, Melun and Paris. It is approximately equidistant between slightly larger Melun and Sens. Name The city takes its name from its geographical position on the confluence of the Yonne (river), Yonne and the Seine rivers.
