Benedikt Fürk
Benedikt Fürk (born 20 October 1988) is a German field hockey player who plays as a defender or midfielder for Uhlenhorst Mülheim and the German national team. International career Fürk made his debut for the senior national team in May 2010 against Poland. In November 2018, he was selected in the Germany squad for the 2018 World Cup. After the game against Malaysia he got an injury and had to withdraw from the tournament. On 28 May 2021, he was named in the squads for the 2021 EuroHockey Championship and the 2020 Summer Olympics. Hockey- und Tennisclub Uhlenhorst e.V. Mülheim, also known as HTC Uhlenhorst Mülheim, is a German professional field hockey club based in Mülheim, North Rhine-Westphalia. Malaysia Men's National Field Hockey Team
The Malaysia men's national field hockey team (nicknamed Speedy Tigers) represents Malaysia in international field hockey competitions. As of August 2023, the team is ranked 9th in the world, and 2nd in Asia, by the International Hockey Federation. The governing body for the sports is the Malaysian Hockey Confederation. History Hockey has a long-standing history in Malaysia, with the first formal match taking place in Kuala Lumpur on November 30, 1898, between Harris' XI and Whitley's XI, just 12 years after the first regulated game was played in England in 1886. Malaysia's first international game occurred in 1932 against the Indian Olympic squad, who had recently clinched Olympic gold. Predictably, the visitors emerged victorious with a 7-0 scoreline. The 2017 Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup was the 28th edition of the Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup, Europe's premier club indoor hockey tournament organized by the EHF. Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup
The Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup is an annual indoor hockey club competition organised by the EHF. It is the premier club tournament of Europe for indoor hockey and contested by the champions of the eight strongest EHF national associations. German clubs have the highest number of victories (27 wins), followed by Poland (2 wins), a club from Spain, Russia, Belgium, Switzerland and Sweden have also won the tournament. The 2018–19 Bundesliga was the 77th season of the Feldhockey Bundesliga (Men's field hockey), Bundesliga, Germany's highest field hockey league.
