Finn Bendixen (born 27 June 1949) is a Norwegian long jumper. He represented Lillesand IL and IF Kamp-Vestheim. Representing the UCLA Bruins track and field team, Bendixen won the 1973 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the long jump. He finished fourteenth in the long jump final at the 1971 European Championships with a jump of 7.32 metres. He also competed at the 1969 European Championships and the 1972 Summer Olympics without reaching the finals. He became Norwegian champion in long jump in 1970, 1972, 1979 and 1980. Harry Bendixen
Harry Mozart Bendixen (13 October 1901 in Copenhagen – 30 December 1954 in Gentofte) was a Denmark, Danish football (soccer) player and sports journalist. He played 16 games and scored one goal for the Denmark national football team from 1924 to 1928. In club football, he represented Akademisk Boldklub (AB) during his entire career. As a journalist, Bendixen was sports editor at Berlingske Tidende and later the editor-in-chief of B.T. (tabloid), B.T. Ole Bendixen
Ole Bendixen (1869–1958) was a Danish explorer, merchant, and author who served as Royal Inspector of South Greenland from 1903 to 1914. Bendixen was active in Greenland from the early 1890s, and rose through the ranks of the Royal Greenland Trading Company, which had administrated Greenland from the 18th century. He was appointed inspector (the highest post in the colony) of the south in 1903, and held the post for 11 years. Upon his retirement as inspector, he was awarded the Order of Vasa. Sorten Muld () is a Danish folktronica band, formed in 1995. They have won two Danish Grammys for ''Mark II''. Their music can be characterized by elegantly composed rhythms, floating sound of typical folk-instruments like bagpipes, flutes and violins, in an electronica-composition that supports the dramatic lyrics. Some tracks on ''Mark II'' are up-beat with only few lyrics and could also be characterized as dance or techno.
