High School Proficiency Assessment
The High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA, pronounced "hess-pah" (/ˈhɛspə/) or sometimes just "H-S-P-A") was a standardized test that was administered by the New Jersey Department of Education to all New Jersey public high school students in March of their junior year until 2014-2015 when it was replaced by the PARCC. Together with the New Jersey Assessment of Skills and Knowledge (NJ ASK), which was administered in grades 3–8, the HSPA was part of a battery of tests used to assess student performance in New Jersey's public schools. Lonnie Griffith Bunch III (born November 18, 1952) is an American educator and historian. Bunch is the fourteenth secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, the first African American and first historian to serve as head of the Smithsonian. He has spent most of his career as a history museum curator and administrator. Bunch served as the founding director of the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) from 2005 to 2019. Ramiro Borja is a retired Ecuadorean-American soccer player. He played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League, American Indoor Soccer Association and American Professional Soccer League. Borja, brother of Chico Borja, was raised in Belleville, New Jersey, and played prep soccer at Belleville High School. He attended Rutgers University, playing for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights men's soccer team in 1979 and 1980. In 1986, Borja signed with the Memphis Storm of the American Indoor Soccer Association. Hernán "Chico" Borja (August 24, 1959 – January 25, 2021) was an Ecuadorian-born American soccer player and coach. He spent time in the several U.S.-based leagues including the North American Soccer League, Major Indoor Soccer League and the American Soccer League. He also earned eleven caps with the U.S. national team. Youth Borja was born in Quito, Ecuador on August 24, 1959. His family immigrated to the United States when he was 14 years old and resided in Belleville, New Jersey, where he played prep soccer at Belleville High School. He attended New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where Borja played on the men's soccer team. At that time, NJIT played in the NCAA Division III.
