Belle Vue (Rhyl)
Belle Vue is a multi-purpose stadium in Rhyl, Wales. It is used mostly for football matches, and is the home ground of C.P.D. Y Rhyl 1879 . The stadium holds 3,000 people, with a seating capacity of 1,720. The stadium has occasionally hosted youth-level international football matches, including an under-16s match between Wales and Scotland. Recently, as a UEFA Category 2 stadium, it has hosted home European matches of other Welsh clubs whose home grounds did not meet the Category 2 requirements, including those of Bala Town and Connah's Quay Nomads. Belle Vue Halt (For Port-E-Vullen), also known as Bellevue ( Manx: ''Stadd Reayrt Aalin''), is an intermediate stopping place on the northern section of the Manx Electric Railway on the Isle of Man. Location It is situated between Lewaigue Station and Ramsey, the line's northern terminus. Belle Vue railway station serves the area of Belle Vue, Manchester, England. It is a stop on the Hope Valley line for services between and . History The station was built by the Sheffield and Midland Railway Companies' Committee and opened on 1 September 1875. It was located on the line between New Mills and Manchester London Road (now Piccadilly). Cheyne Walk is a historic road in Chelsea, London, England, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It runs parallel with the River Thames. Before the construction of Chelsea Embankment reduced the width of the Thames here, it fronted the river along its whole length. Belle Vue Girls' Academy (formerly Belle Vue Girls' School) is a girls' secondary school and sixth form located in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. History The school was founded in 1877 as The Girls' Higher Grade School, on Manningham Lane. In 1904, the name was changed to Belle Vue Girls' Secondary School. During the First World War, the school offered additional evening classes for women who worked during the day in the factories. During the Second World War, the army briefly occupied the building, and the students were sent elsewhere. Belle Vue II is a historic mansion in Bellevue, a suburb of Nashville, Tennessee, USA. It was a Southern plantation worked by enslaved African Americans prior to the American Civil War of 1861–1865.
