Belgium's Got Talent
Belgium's Got Talent is the Dutch language format of the Got Talent series, which was created by Simon Cowell, who also created the series The X Factor. It is broadcast on the Flemish language channel VTM, and is hosted by Koen Wauters and Laura Tesoro. Judges on the program have included Rob Vanoudenhoven (seasons 1-3), Karen Damen (seasons 1-3) and Ray Cokes (seasons 1-3). The current cast of judges features Dan Karaty (seasons 4-now), An Lemmens (seasons 4-now), Stan Van Samang (seasons 4-now) and Niels Destadsbader (seasons 3-now). The first season, which was in 2012, was won by Karolien Goris who was an 11 year old singer. The second season, which was in 2013, was won by Michael Lanzo who was a 34 year old singer. Daniel Quinn Karaty (born October 1, 1976) is an American TV personality and dancer. He is a judge and choreographer on several versions of the global dance competition program ''So You Think You Can Dance'', including the American, Australian, Canadian versions. Stan Van Samang (born 19 March 1979 in Wijgmaal, Leuven) is a Belgian actor and singer. Career He played the role of 'Kevin' in one of Flanders' famous soaps called ''Wittekerke''. Van Samang appeared in other Flemish TV series such as '' Flikken'' and ''Rupel'', and in the Belgian movies ''Windkracht 10: Koksijde Rescue'' (Hans Herbots, 2007) and ''Vermist'' (Jan Verheyen, 2007). In 2006, he was discovered as a music talent during the national TV shows ''Steracteur Sterartiest'' ( VRT), a show in which actors sang for charity. An Lemmens (born 8 September 1980) is a television and radio presenter at VTM (TV channel), VTM/2BE (TV channel), 2BE/Studio Brussel and a former VJ on TMF Flanders, TMF Belgium. Career Lemmens, while studying to be a veterinary assistant, was discovered by television broadcast network The Music Factory, TMF in 2003. She presented several programs and award shows and became the broadcaster's leading host from 2003 until 2007. Raymond Christopher Cokes (born 24 February 1958) is an English television presenter. Career Early life Cokes' father was an officer in the Royal Navy, and was stationed at various navy bases around the world. When Cokes was fifteen, the family permanently resettled back to Britain.
