Badminton
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racket (sports equipment), racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net (device), net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a Yard (land), yard or on a beach; professional games are played on a rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the other team's half of the court, within the set boundaries. Each side may only strike the shuttlecock once before it passes over the net. Lei Lanxi
Lei Lanxi (; born 25 January 1998) is a Chinese badminton player. He won a gold medal at the 2016 BWF World Junior Championships in the mixed team event. Early life Lei was born in Dongguan, Guangdong. He started playing badminton at the age of 9 and entered the Dongguan Sports School, where he received scholarship from Tang Xianhu. Career In 2016, Lei competed in the BWF World Junior Championships mixed team event and was selected to play against the Armenian team in the group stage. In 2019, he won his first title at the Belarus International. He also reached the quarter-finals of the Vietnam Open. In 2022, he competed in the Asian Championships and qualified for the first round of the main draw, but lost to Kanta Tsuneyama in three games. Zhou Chaomin (, born 18 March 1998) is a Chinese badminton player. In 2016, she won the silver medal at the Asia Junior Championships in the girls' doubles event partnered with Ni Bowen. Ren Xiangyu
Ren Xiangyu (; born 23 October 1998) is a Chinese badminton player. Born in Luzhou, Sichuan province, he has shown his talent in badminton since he was a child. He once trained at the Luzhou sports school, and entered the national team in 2016. He helped the junior national team to clinch the mixed team titles at the 2015 and 2016 Asian Junior Championships, and also at the 2015 and 2016 World Junior Championships. He claimed his first senior international title at the 2018 U.S. Open in the men's doubles event partnered with Ou Xuanyi. Zhang Shuxian
Zhang Shuxian ( zh, 张殊贤; ''Zhāng Shūxián''; born 2 January 2000) is a Chinese badminton player. Career Early career Zhang attended Luzhou Zilu Road School. Later, she was recommended by the city sports school to enter the Sichuan badminton team training, and was transferred to the Sichuan team as an official member in 2016, and was selected for the Chinese national youth team in the same year. In July 2017, Zhang represented China for the first time in the international competition at the 2017 Asian Junior Championships and reached the quarter-finals of the women's doubles. Yu Xiaohan () is a retired badminton player from China. She won the 2015 Singapore Super Series with Ou Dongni. Yu was suspended for 7 months by BWF because one of her sample during 2015 Summer Universiade contained sibutramine. Zhang Nan (badminton)
Zhang Nan (; born 1 March 1990) is a Chinese former professional badminton player who specializes in both men's and mixed doubles. He found much success in mixed doubles with his former partner Zhao Yunlei. They won gold in 2012 Summer Olympics, 3 golds in BWF World Championships in 2011, 2014 and 2015 and a gold at the 2014 Asian Games. Having won all major events as a pair, they are considered one of the most successful mixed doubles pairs of all time. Zhang Nan himself is considered to be one of the all-time greats of badminton. Ou Xuanyi
Ou Xuanyi ( zh, s=歐烜屹, p=Ōu Xǔanyì; born 23 January 1994) is a Chinese badminton player. He was part of China winning team in the 2019 Asia Mixed Team Championships, 2022 Asian Games, 2023 Sudirman Cup, and at the 2024 Thomas Cup. Wang Zhiyi
Wang Zhiyi (; born 29 April 2000) is a Chinese badminton player from Shashi, Jingzhou, in Hubei province. She was two-time Asian Champions winning the title in 2022 and 2024. She was part of China winning team in the 2020 and 2024 Uber Cup, as well at the 2021 and 2023 Sudirman Cup. She won her first BWF World Tour Finals title in 2024.
