Bekzod Abdurakhmonov
Bekzod Makhamadzhonovich Abdurakhmonov (; born 15 March 1990) is an Uzbekistani freestyle wrestler and mixed martial artist. He won the gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games in Men's 70 kg Freestyle wrestling. At the 2016 Olympics he beat former gold medalist Jordan Burroughs of the United States 11–1, but lost in the bronze-medal match to Jabrayil Hasanov of Azerbaijan. He won one of the bronze medals in the men's 74 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. In 2017, he won the gold medal in the men's 74 kg event at the 2017 Asian Wrestling Championships in New Delhi, India. In the finals, he defeated Muslim Evloev of Kyrgyzstan. He competed at the 2024 Asian Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and he earned a quota place for Uzbekistan for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. Jabrayil Hasanov
Jabrayil Hasanov (, born on 24 February 1990 in Suparibağ, Astara, Azerbaijan, Soviet Union) is a male freestyle wrestler from Azerbaijan who has competed in the 66, 74 and 79 kg categories. He is an Olympic bronze medalist and multiple World Championships medalist. He is the winner of Yasar Dogu Grand-Prix . Career In 2010 and 2011 he won the European championships and finished third at the world championships. Next year he was fifth at the 2012 Summer Olympics. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he beat Leonid Bazan and Ali Shabanov before losing to eventual gold medalist Tatsuhiro Yonemitsu in the semifinal. Islamic Solidarity Games
The Islamic Solidarity Games () is a multinational, multi-sport event. Managed jointly by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA), the Games involve elite athletes of the OIC competing in a variety of sports. The most recent edition was held in Konya, Turkey, in 2022. The next edition will take place in 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Background The Solidarity Games were established to strengthen Islamic camaraderie and reinforce the values of Islam, primarily to the youth.
