Beerwah railway station is a heritage-listed railway station on the North Coast line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the town of Beerwah in the Sunshine Coast Region. It is listed on the Sunshine Coast Region Heritage Register. History Due to white-ant damage to the old building, the station underwent a major facelift with construction of a new station office, waiting shelters, bus shelters and carpark. Services Beerwah is serviced by Citytrain network services to Brisbane, Nambour and Gympie North. History The North Coast line from Caboolture to Landsborough (which included a siding at Beerburrum) was completed on 1 February 1890. Beerburrum station was originally a single platform with a crossing loop. History The railway connection from Brisbane to Nambour opened in January 1891. At that time, the town, then known as Petrie's Creek was renamed Nambour after the Nambour cattle station.
