Benkendorf
Benkendorf is a village and a former municipality in the district Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2009, it is part of the town Salzwedel. It derives its name from the ancient noble Benkendorf family, who descend from Johannes De Benkendorpe who lived around the year 1240. They are considered to be one of the oldest and most respected lower noble families in Germany. Variations in spelling include, Benkendorf(f), Benckendorf(f), Beneckendorf(f), Beckendorf(f), von Benkendorf(f) und von Hindenburg, von Beneckendorf(f) und von Hindenburg and several others. Renville County is a county in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of the 2020 census the population was 14,723. Its county seat is Olivia. History The Minnesota Territory legislature created the county on February 20, 1855. It was named for Joseph Renville, a fur trapper, trader, British officer in the War of 1812, and interlocutor with local Native American groups. Organization of the county's governing structure was completed on November 8, 1866, with Beaver Falls as county seat. Beckendorfer Mühlenbach
Beckendorfer Mühlenbach is a 6.3 km long river in northeast North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is a tributary of the Schwarzbach, and is a part of the Beckendorfer Mühlenbachtal Nature Reserve. Geography and Course The river has a total length of 6.3 km. It springs in the Nagelsholz area of the Jöllenbeck and flows into the Schwarzbach near Theesen. The watercourse flows through Spenge, Werther and Bielefeld on its way from the source to the mouth: The catchment area extends over a small section of the Ravensberger Mulde, north of Bielefeld, south of Spenge and east of Werther. Going downstream, the river takes in also the Preckerbach (Dreeker Bach) and the Pfarrholzbach. The creek functions temporarily as border between the three munincipalities of Spenge, Werther and Bielefeld. ''Songs of the Heart'' is the twelfth studio album by Christian alternative rock band Daniel Amos, released on BAI Records in 1995. Concept The album's concept is a musical journey down legendary Route 66 with the fictional couple Bud & Irma Akendorf. This concept was partially conceived after discovering an LP hanging on the wall of their rehearsal hall. The LP, which was released in the early 1960s and entitled ''Songs of the Heart'', was by a singing gospel duo by the name of Bob and Elsa Beckendorf. The cover featured the couple pictured in Oak Creek Canyon. The band, inspired by the cover, decided to explore the lives of a fictional couple, which they named Bud and Irma Akendorf. The released cover of D.A.'s ''Songs of the Heart'' is an exact copy of the original LP by the Beckendorfs, with the artist name replaced.
