Bałtyk Koszalin
Bałtyk Koszalin is a Polish multi-sports club with association football, football, tennis and Athletics (sport), athletics sections, based in Koszalin, Pomerania. The football section is technically a separate legal entity from the rest of the club. The name Bałtyk means Baltic Sea, Baltic, the sea which Koszalin is situated upon its shore. History The club was created on 25 February 1946 (4 months older than city rivals Gwardia Koszalin), making use of the small local stadium, which was opened in 1935, mainly focusing on athletics and tennis. The football section of the club was reactivated in 1995. This was due to the efforts of brothers Jan and Zenon Bednarek who transformed the football section into an independent club. The first club president was Jan Bednarek, who served this function until 1997, when he became the president of the local PZPN, OZPN in Koszalin and resigned from the leadership. IV Liga
IV liga (Czwarta liga) is the fifth level of the Polish football league system. The current structure of IV liga was created in the 2000–01 season after introducing the new administrative division of Poland. Groups consist most often of 18 clubs, which each group winner earning promotion to III liga. The bottom clubs are relegated to Liga okręgowa or V liga (depending on the voivodeship). Until the end of the 2007–08 season, IV liga was the fourth tier of league system, but this was changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the highest level of football league in Poland. Zagłębie Lubin S.A. () is a Polish professional association football, football club based in Lubin. Founded in 1945 as ''OMTUR Lubin'', the club competes in the Ekstraklasa. History The football team was founded in 1945 as OMTUR Lubin by local members of the ''Youth Organization of the Association of Workers’ Universities'' (''Organizacja Młodzieży Towarzystwa Uniwersytetów Robotniczych, OMTUR''). The team played matches on a pitch at Kościuszko Street. The games of OMTUR Lubin were very popular, attracting crowds of people. The Polish Cup in Association football, football ( ) is an annual Single-elimination tournament, knockout football competition for Polish football club (association football), football clubs, held continuously since 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( ). Participation is open to any club registered with the PZPN, Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid or not. Reserve and veteran teams are also eligible, with reserve teams reaching the final on two occasions (and winning it once). The Cup is popular among lower-level teams, as it gives them a chance to play better known sides. Ruch Chorzów () is a Polish professional association football, football club based in Chorzów, Upper Silesia.
