Basketball Champions League Asia – East (BCL Asia–East) is a qualification tournament for the Basketball Champions League Asia. It is participated by club teams from the East Asia (EABA) and Southeast Asia (SEABA) sub-zones of FIBA Asia. History Basketball Champions League Asia, the tournament for club teams in FIBA Asia, was previously known as the FIBA Asia Champions Cup. It adopted its current branding in 2024. A non-branded qualification tournament (qualifying rounds) was held to determine additional two teams from East Asia and Southeast Asia to qualify for the inaugural 2024 tournament. For the 2025 edition, the qualification tournament held on the same year was branded as Basketball Champions League Asia – East. On top of the two teams qualifying for the championship proper, the finals winner were crowned BCL Asia–East champions. This distinction went to the Ulaanbaatar Xac Broncos of Mongolia. 2024 Basketball Champions League Asia Qualifying Rounds
The qualification rounds for the 2024 Basketball Champions League Asia began on 3 April 2024 and will have two teams advance to the main tournament. It was the first games under the new BCL entity. Entrant teams The following eight teams qualified on the following sporting merit. Numbers in brackets show the number of team each association was given. Round 1 Eight clubs consisting of champions and runners-up of domestic leagues from East and South East Asia will compete in the April 3–7 tilt to be held at the UG Arena in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Prawira Harum Bandung is an Indonesian professional basketball club based in the city of Bandung, West Java province. It was founded by Lilian Wijaya in 1991 as Hadtex Indosyntec. The FIBA West Asia Super League (WASL) is a regional basketball league organised by FIBA Asia, consisting of clubs from West Asia, India and Kazakhstan. The league was announced in 2022 and started with the inaugural season from December, until June 2023. There are two zones in the competition: West Asia and the Gulf. The Eastern Sports Club (), also known as Hong Kong Eastern (), is a professional men's basketball team of the Eastern Sports Club. The team also known as ().
