Bashir Khan Qureshi (; 10 August 1959 – 7 April 2012) was a Sindhi nationalist who served as the leader of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), a Sindhi nationalist movement in Sindh, founded by G. M. Syed. He died at the age of 54 years on 7 April 2012. Early life Bashir Qureshi was born to Ghulam Murtaza Qureshi, on 10 August 1959 at Motan Pur Mohalla in Ratodero, Larkana District in Sindh. He started his political career as a student worker of the Jeay Sindh Students' Federation, Jeay Sindh Students Federation (Jeay Sindh Students' Federation, JSSF) during his master's studies at the Sindh Agriculture University, Agriculture University, Tando Jam, Sindh. Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (, JSQM, Long live Sindh National Front) is a nationalist political party in the Sindh province of Pakistan, that advocates for Sindhudesh, Sindh's independence from Pakistan. The party was founded in 1995 after death of G. M. Syed, GM Syed. Formation JSQM was a “merger/integration” of all the nationalist factions of Jeay Sindh or Sindhudesh movement which were functioning separately before the demise of veteran Sindhi nationalist ideologue GM Syed. The death of GM Syed in 1995, brought all the factions of the Jeay Sindh under one umbrella called JSQM, veteran Sindhi nationalist figure Abdul Wahid Aresar as its first elected chairman.
