Baruta (pop. 317,288) is a municipality within the Metropolitan District of Caracas in Venezuela. Geography Baruta is located geographically in the South-East section of the city. Its western limit is the ''Los Chaguaramos'' neighborhood (which belongs to the Libertador Bolivarian Municipality) and limits to the east with the ''Colinas de Los Ruices'' neighborhood, in the Sucre Municipality. To the North, it borders with the Francisco Fajardo Highway and to the Southeast with the El Hatillo Municipality and to the Southwest with the ''Hoyo de la Puerta'' neighborhood (Libertador Municipality). Economy The main economic activity in Baruta is non-manufacturing business in the many office buildings within the Municipality. For example, the Procter & Gamble Latin American Headquarters are located there. Commerce is also a great source of revenue for the ''Baruteños'', as some of the most attractive night spots in the Greater Caracas are located in ''Las Mercedes'' district. ...

Los Chaguaramos
The Libertador Bolivarian Municipality () is the only administrative division of the Capital District of Venezuela and along with the municipalities of Baruta, Chacao, El Hatillo and Sucre forms the Metropolitan District of Caracas. It is landlocked by Vargas State and also borders Miranda State on the east and south. Un Nuevo Tiempo
Un Nuevo Tiempo (Spanish for 'A New Era', UNT) is a centre-left political party in Venezuela. It received 11% of the vote in the 2008 regional elections. The party arose in Zulia State, Venezuela's most populous, and remains far stronger in its home region than elsewhere in the country, providing the state governor since 2000 (currently Manuel Rosales) and the mayor of its largest city, Maracaibo (since 2010, currently, Eveling Trejo de Rosales). The Justice First () is a centre-right political party in Venezuela. Founded in 1992 as a civil association, it became a political party in 2000. Henrique Capriles was the candidate of the party in 2013 Venezuelan presidential election. Henrique Capriles Radonski (; born 11 July 1972) is a Venezuelan politician and lawyer, who served as the 36th Governor of Miranda from 2008 to 2017. Born in Caracas, he received a degree in law from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, and later in tax law from the Central University of Venezuela. Ivonne Attas (born August 2, 1943) is a Syrian-born Venezuelan telenovela soap opera actress and politician of the Copei party. Attas served as the third mayor of the Baruta Municipality (3 December 1995 - 30 July 2000). She has mostly portrayed villains during her acting career. El Cafetal is a neighborhood located in the Baruta Municipality of Caracas, Venezuela. History It is an urbanization developed in the second half of the 20th century in what was once a coffee plantation (from which it took its name) in the east of the capital of Venezuela.
