Barker Inlet – St Kilda Aquatic Reserve
__NOTOC__ Barker Inlet – St Kilda Aquatic Reserve is a marine protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located in waters adjoining the east coast of Gulf St Vincent in Barker Inlet about north of the state capital of Adelaide. The aquatic reserve covers the extent of the Barker Inlet to the south of the St Kilda boat channel as well as two natural channels, the Angas Inlet and the east part of the North Arm, and land subject to tidal inundation on the east side of Torrens Island, all sides of Garden Island and in the suburbs of Gillman, Dry Creek, Bolivar and St Kilda (from west to east). It is bounded to its immediate north by the St Kilda – Chapman Creek Aquatic Reserve. Port Adelaide is a port-side region of Adelaide, approximately northwest of the Adelaide city centre, Adelaide CBD. Seagrasses are the only flowering plants which grow in marine (ocean), marine environments. There are about 60 species of fully marine seagrasses which belong to four Family (biology), families (Posidoniaceae, Zosteraceae, Hydrocharitaceae and Cymodoceaceae), all in the order Alismatales (in the clade of monocotyledons). Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary
The Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary National Park (Winaityinaityi Pangkara, pronounced "Wee-nay-chi-nay-chi pan-ker-a" in the indigenous Kaurna language, meaning "country belonging to all birds") is a protected area in South Australia established by the South Australian government on the northeast coast of Gulf St Vincent, between Parham in the north and the southern end of Barker Inlet (part of the Port River estuary) in the south. Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary
Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary (ADS) is a marine protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located on the east coast of Gulf St Vincent in and adjoining the north-western part of Adelaide, covering the estuary of the Port River around Port Adelaide and northwards past St Kilda. It was established in 2005 for the protection of a resident population of Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins (''Tursiops aduncus'').
