Sportovní klub Kladno, commonly known as SK Kladno, is a football club from Kladno, Czech Republic. It plays in the Bohemian Football League (third tier of the Czech football system). The club was founded on 15 February 1903. The team plays at the Stadion Františka Kloze, named after legendary player of this club František Kloz. At the time of the Czechoslovak First League, SK Kladno has spent most of its history in the top division, but from 2011, it plays in amateur tiers. Kladno (; ) is a city in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 70,000 inhabitants. It is the largest city in the region and has a rich industrial history. Jozef Vengloš
Jozef Vengloš (18 February 1936 – 26 January 2021) was a Slovak professional football player and manager. He held a doctorate in Physical Education and also specialised in Psychology. He was selected by FIFA on various occasions to lecture at the FIFA academies throughout the world. Playing career Born in Ružomberok, Czechoslovakia (now in Slovakia), Vengloš played as a midfielder for Slovan Bratislava 1954–1966, and later captained the team, and also played for Czechoslovakia at the B level. After his playing career was prematurely ended by hepatitis, he began his managerial career in Australia, first in club football, before going on to manage the national team. Zbyněk Busta
Zbyněk Busta (born 10 March 1967) is a Czech football manager, currently the manager of Povltavská FA. He managed Bohemians 1905 in the 2007–08 Czech First League. Busta led Bohemians 1905, resigning with six matches of the 2007–08 Czech First League remaining. On 7 July 2008 Busta signed a contract with third league club, FK Varnsdorf. Miroslav Beránek
Miroslav Beránek (born 24 April 1957) is a Czech football coach and former player who was most recently the manager of the Slavia Prague. As a player, he played over 100 matches as a defender for Slavia Prague in the 1980s. Coaching career Beránek took charge of Slavia Prague in the 1994–95 season. After managing Chmel Blšany in the Czech First League, he returned for a second spell at Slavia, where he won the 2001–02 Czech Cup. As coach of the Czech Republic U21 team, he won the 2002 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship. Martin Hřídel
Martin Hřídel (born 22 May 1968) is a Czech former football player and manager, whose playing position was forward. As a player, he made more than 100 appearances in the top flight of Czech football, the Czech First League. As a manager, he managed SK Kladno and 1. FK Příbram in the Czech First League. Playing career Hřídel played in the Czech First League for five seasons in the 1990s, playing for FC Slovan Liberec and FC Viktoria Plzeň. Managerial career After his playing career, Hřídel worked as a coach with various teams including the national youth football teams. He went on to work as assistant coach to Luboš Kozel at FK Baumit Jablonec in 2007. Jaroslav Šilhavý
Jaroslav Šilhavý (; born 3 November 1961) is a Czech professional football manager and former player. As a player, Šilhavý made a total of 464 top flight appearances spanning the end of the Czechoslovak First League and the beginning of the Czech First League, scoring 25 goals. His 464 appearances was a Czech league record until 6 November 2022, when Šilhavý was surpassed by Milan Petržela. His son, Tomáš Šilhavý, also played football in the Czech First League. As a manager, Šilhavý won the 2011–12 Czech First League with Slovan Liberec. Miroslav Koubek
Miroslav Koubek (born 1 September 1951) is a Czech manager and former goalkeeper, currently managing Viktoria Plzeň. He won the Czech First League with Plzeň in the 2014–15 season. Coaching career Koubek coached several Czech clubs. He led SK Kladno to the Czech Second League title in the 2005–06 season, securing the club's return to top-flight football for the first time since 1970. In the 2008–09 season, he led FC Zenit Čáslav to second place in the Czech Second League and promotion to the First League, although Čáslav eventually sold the First League license to rivals and remained in the Second League. SK Spolana Neratovice was a Czech football club located in Neratovice and sponsored by Spolana. The club was founded in 1919. The club won the Bohemian Football League in the 1998–99 season and subsequently played four seasons in the Czech 2. Liga. Josef Bican
Josef "Pepi" Bican (25 September 1913 – 12 December 2001) was an Austrians, Austrian-Czechs, Czech professional Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker. He is regarded by some to be the greatest goalscorer in the history of the sport. Jan Suchopárek
Jan Suchopárek (born 23 September 1969) is a Czech football coach and former defender. He played for Czechoslovakia and later the Czech Republic, playing a combined total of 61 international matches, scoring four goals. Suchopárek was a participant at UEFA Euro 1996, where the Czech Republic won the silver medal.
